Derek Streat, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Derek has primary responsibility for developing C-SATS’ key strategies to surprise and delight customers, and for building and leading the team to effectively execute them. He is an accomplished healthcare and technology entrepreneur having co-founded and/or been at the earliest stages of five venture-backed companies, four of which he led as CEO and one grown from virtually nothing into a $100 million business. Prior to C-SATS, Derek co-founded Medify, an online medical research service that rapidly became used by 1 in 10 doctors each month. Medify was acquired by Alliance Health Networks where he served as SVP Corporate Development & Strategy. Derek currently serves on the Board of PEDSnet, a PCORI-funded consortium of eight leading pediatric hospitals working together to build the first real-time, comprehensive dataset about children with serious illness. Prior to his work in healthcare, Derek co-founded a venture-backed online advertising company, Adready (acquired by CPXi), and he was a member of the initial executive team at Classmates Online. As VP of Strategic & Corporate Development, he helped build Classmates into a social network serving 80 million consumers that was sold to a public company, United Online, in 2004.
Thomas Lendvay MD, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Lendvay has devoted his career to improving surgical skills education, training and development. He has numerous publications in the domain of surgical technology and technique, and he has been funded by the Department of Defense to specifically test methods of skill improvement. Dr. Lendvay is also a pediatric surgeon and urologist at Seattle Children's Hospital where he serves as the Co-Director of the Seattle Children's Robotic Surgery Center. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington where he sits on the Executive Committee for the Institute for Simulation and Interprofessional Skills. Dr. Lendvay received his Medical Doctorate at Temple University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Emory University and received his BA in Biology and German at Rice University.

Sean O'Connor, Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Sean is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of all sales and revenue initiatives for the company. In his role he is focused on proper integration and alignment of all revenue-related functions, including sales, marketing, customer support, pricing, and revenue management. He is an accomplished and recognized leader in the healthcare sector. Prior to C-SATS, Sean spent almost ten years with Intuitive Surgical. During his time at Intuitive, he served in a variety of leadership roles in both sales and training. Most notably he was the Global Director of Customer Training, and the Area Vice President of sales. He consistently led his teams to achieve all revenue goals in one of the fastest growing medical device companies in US history, and in the process, helped transform Intuitive Surgical into a Fortune 500 company. Prior to his work in healthcare, Sean served as an officer in the United States Navy and spent a majority of his time deployed overseas working on a number of counter terrorism initiatives.
Adam Monsen, Head of Engineering
Adam leads the team of C-SATS software engineers that develop the products and technologies to help our customers achieve their goals. He is an experienced software engineer and technologist, having built products and led engineering teams at large public companies like Boeing and RealPage and smaller organizations like Grameen Foundation. Adam was one of the first engineers at Classmates.com, a early Internet company that he, C-SATS CEO Derek Streat and others built into a $100+ million company and one of the most heavily trafficked sites on the Internet. He excels at engineering leadership, software architecture, databases, scaling, networking and APIs. Adam is a staunch advocate of Free and Open Source Software and is a founder of SeaGL, the Seattle GNU/Linux Conference.
Justin Warren, Director of operations
Justin leads the customer success team at C-SATS. His goal is simple; to ensure we continuously solve our customers’ problems to their utmost satisfaction. By executing on this goal, he believes C-SATS will achieve its mission of empowering 16 million healthcare workers and institutions to improve their performance. Justin is an experienced program manager, having delivered complex, large-scale, $100+ million projects on time and on budget during his tenure with Robinson Construction. He also worked on projects at OtoMetrix Medical Technologies and the University of Washington Center for Commercialization. Justin received his MBA from University of Washington.
BRYAN COMSTOCK, M.S., STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
Bryan ensures methodologically rigorous design and analyses are fundamental to the C-SATS approach. As Senior Biostatistician and Director of Operations for the Center for Biomedical Statistics at the University of Washington, Bryan has been exposed to virtually all medical and human subjects research being conducted in the greater Seattle area. He specializes in data coordination center activities and the design and development of data collection platforms to conduct multi-site clinical trials, and he has co-authored more than 50 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Bryan has applied expertise in a growing number medical fields, including musculoskeletal and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, neonatology, radiology, psychology, health services research, smoking cessation, and the evaluation of technical skills through crowd sourcing.
